SCAT VW Shines at Cory Mac’s Vegas World Finals: A Celebration of VW Racing

On December 7, 2024, The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosted Cory Mac’s Vegas World Finals, a landmark event for Volkswagen enthusiasts and racers. Organized by veteran racer Cory McClenathan, the event attracted top-tier VW race cars and a vibrant community of fans.

Among the standout participants were Mexx from Austria and Damon Harmon from Texas, both showcasing vehicles equipped with SCAT VW performance parts. Their cars prominently displayed SCAT VW branding, underscoring the company’s significant role in high-performance VW racing.

Damon Harmon, a seasoned racer with a history of success, has consistently utilized SCAT VW components in his vehicles. Notably, he secured victory at the VW Pro Stock Race at Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, Texas, on July 17, 2021, driving his QT3 Bug to a 6.19-second run.

The Vegas World Finals featured a diverse array of activities, including drag racing, a car show, a vendor midway, and a swap meet, offering a comprehensive experience for all attendees.

SCAT VW’s presence at the event was evident, with several participating vehicles utilizing their parts, highlighting the company’s commitment to supporting the VW racing community.
