1776cc Air-cooled VW Build

Richard I Sedoris III from Youngstown, Ohio, shared his progress on Dave L.’s 1776cc engine. A Schadek oil pump was installed, then packed for quick oil priming and capped off with a cast-iron full flow cover. The pulley tin went on and a SCAT VW black full-size billet aluminum pulley was added to the crank and a new chrome bolt was torqued to spec.

Powder-coated cylinder tins, lower deflectors, sled tins and a fan shroud were then installed with stainless button head hardware. Backing the 12V generator is paint detailed finned aluminum cover and matching pulley detail.
